I’m yet again super late with this announcement, and I’m really grateful to Mai88 who pointed this out to me today.
Most of you probably don’t know Hanayamata yet, which is no surprise. Only the first chapter of the manga has been translated so far, and even though it is said to have some yuri, we still can’t be sure how much it will eventually be. I have seen this one on the Yuri Project Wiki and it also got the Yuri tag on numerous websites online, so I think it’s safe to assume that there will be at least some yuri going on, and hopefully more the just subtext.
Here’s a short plot summary:
Normal appearance, normal intelligence, normal in arts and sports… just normal. This is the entirely normal 14-year-old, Naru Sekiya. While she admires “Heroines” she continues to live a normal life until one moonlit night she meets a fairy. This foreign girl then guides her into the extraordinary world of the yosakoi dance.

Nooooo! Off topic; I finally watched The Madoka movie Rebellion (I know I'm late on that) and the Sayako pairing being officially confirmed just made my whole week.

I haven't seen the RAWs of this manga yet, so I can't really judge it, but it has the yuri/shoujo ai tag on some websites.

Well the akuma manga only had subtext. The anime turned all of it into text, so there's hope.

Yeah, but if post in older entries… Ok you have a point, and yes (well it didn't really make my week, but that makes it sound cooler) kyokoXSayaka is way better than madoHomu since hamura is just crazy. It was cute at first, but then she changed the whole universe and space time continuum, etc. So on top of being my two favorite characters, kyokoXSayaka has that whole tsundere feel to it, which is always welcome.

Seriously i wish for more yuri anime/manga popularity i just got tired of the usual anime about a guy who suddenly all the girls fall in love with him i am so tired of it :p
