Before I start with what I have to say, please note that this is not an official announcement!
What I’m about to say is a guess I made based on some pieces of information I found online. I repeat, this is no official information, so please don’t treat it as such.
This is a tweet about Citrus, posted by the official twitter account of the Yuri Hime magazine, just two days ago. Loosely translated, this says:
A Citrus PV is in production right now. More information will follow when the third volume is released on November 18th.
I don’t want to be the one spreading false rumors, but this might be something that all Citrus fans have been waiting for.
Reading about a PV sounds like something connected to an anime adaptation. I might be reading too much into it, but this sounds really suspicious.
It’s also funny how I haven’t heard anything about this yet. Well, maybe most of us can’t read Japanese, and it was posted just two days ago, but still….
Anyway, someone even commented to this tweet asking whether this means that there will be an anime adaptation, so I think I’m definitely not the only one seeing it this way.
What do you think? Does this sound to you like there will be a Citrus anime soon? Or do you think they are talking about something different?
I will keep you updated on that matter and delete this post if proven wrong.

Citrus probably is the yuri manga most likely to get an anime adaption, but I still doubt it. At least from the Twitter post, nothing points to an anime production.

Had no idea Murcielago had its own manga PV. btw, these sorta PVs for manga are pretty common for publishers to do. I think even Sakura Trick had one.
Some PVs for manga are animated, despite some of those manga not having an anime.

If we get a Citrus anime, the real question is how much the ending is going to suck, though. I doub't they'll be going for more than one season cause that's not how yuri animes work, so it probably will be one of those mhhh-we're-suddenly-kinda-together-now-maybe endings.
Enix should just throw money at Murcielago and make that an anime, though.

3-4 volumes might be the perfect length for a 12 episode show, so I'm not that worried about the end.

Yeah, but only if Citrus is finished by then. The length doesn't matter if the anime creators have to come up with an ending by themselves.
First we'll have to get an anime, though.

In case of Akuma no Riddle, I think the manga wasn't finished as well, but as long as they have the author around, they don't have to come up with a random ending 😛

So, is there going to be anime?
I know it's just PV and it's for promoting Citrus but they did voice acting and all that, they could just simply put one voice for promoting and that's it; Also this manga is popular so why not?
