Just like my Yuri Anime of 2014 list, and the new Yuri Anime 2016 list, this one will also feature all the yuri shows that will air this year. Since it’s only the beginning of 2015, this list is still in progress and will be updated whenever there are new shows to add. MAL has Yuri Kuma Arashi listed at 12 episodes. It's already nearly halfway over already, and I'm still unenthusiastic.
KanColle is really where it's at, anyway. I know you dislike it when you're reminded how much better my pairings are than yours, so I won't mention them. 😛

Thanks for the mention, will change it right away.
Good thing you didn't start with your freaky pairings again… someday this will end in a bloodbath 😛

I guess you'll still get to Cinderella Girls? I don't watch shows that haven't finished airting yet but I've heard yuri-ish things about the anime. Another show worth keeping an eye on might be Rolling Girls, that's also just something I've heard, though.
Looking forward to the second seasons of The Order is a Rabbit and Non Non Biyori later this year.

i'm the same way. i never watch shows that are and when a season sends i start marathoning the finished shows.

So “Konohanatei Kitan” (Published previously in Comic Yurihime S) has officially “started” again since December 2014 but is apparently a re-tellling of the story (starting again from a redrawn chapter 1) as well as continuation since previous version went on hiatus after magazine closure.
And here I thought every hiatus-ed Yuri manga never come back (looking at you Epitaph by aya shoto)

“Sound Euphonium” (thought it was worth mentioning since the manga adaptation art is by Hami, mangaka of Shoujo Satellite that ran in Tsubomi) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIZnBTceJ3I
“God Eater” anime to preview in summer. Just your typical post-apocalyptic fun-stuff. Only mentioned 'cause I played the games intensely at one point :p

I think OG> he did something like “overcoming his dislikes also knon as yaoi and “other girl-targeted” anime” in the goal to become a neutral close-to-100% bi-sexual accepting existence person by watching Magical BOYs mahou shounen -anime.

I'm sure this list will begin growing quickly once Spring kicks off, but this is everything that we actually know enough about to say.
Though, as was already stated, Cinderella Girls has been fairly yuriish. As well as Rolling Girls.
Then, there is Princess Precure. It is as Precure are wont to be. Probably too early to talk about that though.
Illya 2wei Hertz will be airing in Summer, so that's a promising prospect (I hear it's MUCH better in the yuri department than the first part was)
And there's also Gakkou Gurashii, I haven't read ALL of the current manga, but as far as I got the yuri's enough to talk about.
I think that's everything known that we can look forward to right now.

Thanks for the additions 🙂
In case of Rolling Girls, I still need to watch some more episodes to be able to add it and rate the yuri in it.
So if you have a yuri rating based on my yuri rating chart, feel free to tell me so I can add it a little earlier.
Illya 2 is probably the only show that we can all be sure to have enough yuri that I can add it already.

I was planning on watching cross Ange, but I looked it up and it said she's on love with a guy named tusk. Is she bisexual? It looks like a show that will make me rage if its teases Yuri and ends with a hetero relationship.
LikeLike
I have only watched a few episodes so far and I also have a feeling as if it might not end with Ange x another girl, though I saw a lot of gifs and pics that tell another story.
However, we shouldn't focus on her alone.
The few episodes I watched show A LOT of yuri going on between the other girls, so I think it's worth watching this show for them alone.

I heard the series is supposed to improve later on, so it should get better. I hated the 50 scenes where Tusk magically trips and lands on Ange's crotch. https://33.media.tumblr.com/eb00099a04d510a12790c8f7e8ec1e8b/tumblr_njlfi05Qgu1r4vymlo1_500.gif

Hey Lena, semi-lurker here.
I'm really disappointed in the lukewarm reception to Yuri Kuma Arashi everyone seems to have (both regular anime community and the yuri fan community), it is one of the few, if not the only one, anime that actually addresses Yuri as a social issue and presents very universal themes. Yes the show has its flaws: it's heavily layered and heavy on imagery and symbolism and so may deter viewers who did not expect such a show. But if people would just look even 1 layer past the surface they'll see a beautiful story with a beautiful ending and a beautiful message.
It's really hard not to be cynical and think that people are just into Yuri for the fanservice, or perhaps maybe that's what the genre should be and I'm just missing the point. Still, YKA is one of the best Yuri has to offer in my opinion. Any fan should give it a try!
