We’re back with another Yuri Tournament!
You guys have decided, and the topic will be… The Best Yuri Kiss in Anime History.
We took our time to prepare and dug deep to find as many yuri kisses as possible, spanning from anime like Utena to more recent shows like Ange Vierge. However, we are quite sure that there are still more out there, so we need your help.
So please take a look at the yuri kisses we listed below. If you think we missed something and want us to add another one, or even more, please don’t only list the name of the show. Tell us the show’s title, the name of the two characters that kiss, and ideally, also post a picture of the kiss, so we can add it right away. Though, please note that only kisses on the mouth count and we are not adding kisses from Hentai shows, so even Sono Hanabira or Shoujo Sect won’t be added.
Down below, you’ll also find two polls. Round 0 will be a preliminary round, meant to find the missing kisses and also to do the first round of votes. Since shows like Valkyrie Drive and Sakura Trick include so many kisses, it would be a little too much to add them all, which is why we decided to first let you decide which ones will make it to the first round. You’ll find two polls, one including all kisses from Sakura Trick and one with the ones from Valkyrie Drive. Please vote for your favorite kisses for each show. We will then add the top kisses to the actual first round of the tournament.
Just like last time, we’ve decided to go with 96 kisses, which will leave us with 6 rounds plus a grand finale with 3 kiss scenes competing for first place. Well, in case you guys suggest a ton of additional kisses, we might have to change it and have a bigger list of participating kiss scenes, though, let’s just see how much more we can find.

I’m honestly torn between my two fav ST kisses. I love both the ones in episode 6 (Haruka and Yuu kissing during the concert) and episode 8 (Haruka and Yuu exchanging wedding kisses in the dressing room. Can’t wait to see which wins. XD

Holly shiznit! thats a lot of yuri kisses!!! *drools* and we are all supposed to pick just one as the best of all time?!?! O.O talk about tough! but as hot as most of these are I just know shows like Kannazuki Kyoshiro, Simoun, Sakura Trick and Valkyrie Drive will get close to the top spot. this is gonna be both fun and a little emotionally painful T.T but that said I would like to suggest a kiss to be added. the show is Re: Cutie Honey, the characters involved are Honey Kisaragi / Cutie Honey and Natsuko Aki. Idk if I am ready for this! having to choose which kisses I loved best from Kannazuki? Strawberry Panic? its like telling a parent to choose which kid is there favorite! I do hope shows like Kannazuki and Strawberry Panic, Sakura Trick and VD make it to the last rounds. shame Shoujo Sect and Sono Hana cant be added but I get where you are coming from.

There were 2 kisses in Rinne no Lagrange, but they were so platonic am not sure they are worth it.

i also thought about Sengoku otome, but discarded it because there’s no feelings attached. Well, it’s neither a “real” kiss, she’s just passing water to hydeyoshi.
For the same reason, i’ve discarded also the kiss scene in stratos 4 (ep 7, 8:30~). While it’s a bit spicy, it’s just a girl forcing a kiss onto another girl.
But that’s just my opinion, let’s the landlady decide 😀
