Some of you already anticipated this exact outcome, but for others, this comes as a total surprise. For me, I kinda saw it coming, seeing just how much support this work has gotten from the very beginning. It’s also one of the few ongoing ones that besides Citrus—which for obvious reasons wasn’t featured in this tournament—is definitely one of the most popular ones around right now.

Personally, I had a feeling and the hope it would be this awesome kind of non-Japanese vs Japanese kind of finale, and that was actually how things had already turned out in the past few rounds. I just loved seeing your reactions to so many of the awesome and oh so close “fights” that took place this tournament.

Okay guys, it’s finally there, the big finale of this tournament that we’ve all been waiting for.

Yet again, the last round was brutal and there’s no word more fitting for what happened in these past days of voting. It was a very close match in both cases. Pulse only made it with an advantage of a few votes and it seemed to be a very close match for Bloom Into You as well. In the end, I’m glad to see these two showing up as the remaining competitors for the iron, uh I mean yuri throne, making this the Japanese vs non-Japanese finale that a lot of us has been waiting for.

I gotta admit, seeing Girl Friends getting kicked out by Pulse is very surprising, to say the least, but that’s what makes this tournament so interesting! Now it’s a clean 2 vs 2, Japanese vs non-Japanese works. How exciting is that, and who would have thought the non-Japanese works would make it so far?! Just imagine if we got a finale with only Ratana Satis’ works…
