Now that we’re in 2020, it’s time to once again look ahead at what the rest of the year has in store for us. Overall, 2019 was another solid year for yuri fans, with plenty of manga and visual novels to choose from, but you couldn’t say the same about anime. The good news is that it can’t get much worse, so hopes are high that 2020 could be an improvement.

Looking ahead to 2020, the first thing that sticks out to me is the fact that we already have a pure yuri anime to look forward to. Over the summer, it was announced that Adachi to Shimamura would be getting an anime adaptation, and even though we still don’t know the length of the anime, it’s nice to know that there’s something good on the way~
