What We’re Listening to This Week (November 11th, 2019 Edition)

It’s been nearly five months since we started this series. Where did the time go? Here’s seven more songs we’ve been listening to this week~

It feels like Coldplay has been around forever, hasn’t it? They’re coming out with a new album later this month, so here’s a throwback to one of my favorite songs of theirs. For some reason, this song makes me feel better when I listen to it, so I like to listen to it a lot~

And this is another group that I’m really surprised I haven’t included before. I’ll admit that the first thing I noticed when I was shown this a few years ago was their legs, but who wouldn’t?! Anyway, it’s kind of hard to believe that it’s been ten years since this was released, but even by today’s standards, this was still an epic performance.

Just like her former Wonder Girls bandmate, Yenny (better known to some as Ha:tfelt) makes it on this list again. Even though this isn’t actually an official video, it’s still really well-made, and you could probably fool a lot of people into thinking it is official. Thanks to the lesbian couple in the video, I’m sure it’ll also please readers of this blog. 😛

This is another one of L’s music choices, and to be honest, I don’t like it at all, and I’m probably being generous when I say that. The Spice Girls song this is based on is much better than this, and I’m already tired of talking about this one, so let’s move on already. 😛

Growing up, I had a massive piano in my living room, yet I never learned how to play it. Hearing people like Ludovico Einaudi play, I kind of wish I would have learned. There’s just something extra special about piano instrumentals that always reel me in, and with how many good songs he’s produced, you can’t go wrong with Ludovico Einaudi.

How awesome is Nano? I’m not super familiar with J-Rock, but I’ve been a fan of hers for a number of years, and she always seems to come out with epic song after epic song. Her music’s been involved in plenty of anime, including the forgettable Hidan no Aria AA, which we reviewed a few years ago.

And you thought we were done featuring Taeyeon? Haha, silly you! It’s 11.11, so we just had to include her once again. This is a pretty mellow song, but do you really need anything more than just Taeyeon singing? I think not!
