Since you can never run out of songs, here are some more that we’ve been listening to lately. 😛
This is L’s pick, and I suspect the real reason she picked this one is because of that picture… 😀
Some things never change, and you can say the same about EastNewSound. I’m not loving this song from them, and as far as I’m concerned, this is still their best song~
How awesome was part two of the third season of Shingeki no Kyojin? The first part of the season was pretty good, but I don’t think it fully had that SnK magic, but then the second part comes along and reminds us why we love this series in the first place.
I’ll admit that I hadn’t heard Rihanna’s version until after I heard this cover (this is a lot better btw :P), but this is just so nice. I had already heard of IDER before, but this is now easily my favorite song from them, and I’m going to need to listen to more songs to find out if there are others as good as this one.
There are a TON of Kpop groups, aren’t there? Another one of L’s picks, I had actually never heard of this group before, but they seem okay. They’re not standing out too much to me based on this song, but I have to admit that that Matrix-style move was pretty sweet.
And we continue to tease more Fire Emblem stuff. Maybe that review will happen, but what will happen for sure is me listening to this song a few more times. I’m liking the Middle Eastern vibes, and it’s a big plus that there are lyrics to this. For non-English songs, we definitely need to see more of that. 😛
I feel like this has been a long time coming. You might recognize Taeyeon from my super awesome (:D) choose-your-own-adventure fanfic, but to me, I think she’s the best singer in Kpop. In addition to the stuff with Girls’ Generation, she has so many good songs to choose from, and as a solo artist, she’s risen to the top of my Kpop music catalog~
Sunmi has been on this list a couple of times already, but before she was doing her own thing, she was a part of Wonder Girls, one of the first Kpop girl groups to really hit it big. They debuted in 2007, and even though they disbanded a couple of years ago, they’re still Kpop royalty, and this final single of theirs was one of their best. Also, they really do play these instruments, so they’re especially awesome.
